ISLAMABA: Special Representative for Afghanistan and Pakistan (SRAP) Ambassador Richard Olson and Commander Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan (CRSMA) General John Nicholson, heading their respective delegations called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif. During the meeting on Thursday, regional security issues and matters of mutual interest including border management mechanism along Pakistan-Afghanistan border were discussed. According to a news release by ISPR, the visiting dignitaries appreciated the Pakistan Army’s efforts towards fighting terrorism and regional stability.
