KARACHI: Three militants – trained in Afghanistan – arrested on Friday.
The police found material with them that could be used in ‘terror activities’, a local TV channel reported. According to details, the militants were arrested from Orangi Town, Korangi and Lyari.
The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested all three of them. Senior Superintend of Police (SSP) Junaid Sheikh told media persons that that the militants belonged to a banned outfit.
Four kilograms of explosive material, three grenades, two pistols and several rounds of bullets were also found with the terrorists.
