PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) Minister for Minerals Development Anisa Zeb Tahirkheli has said that provincial government was going to introduce a sustainable and organised system for development and good governance in mineral sector.
She expressed these views while chairing a meeting to review amendments in KP Mines and Minerals Development and Regulation Ordinance 2016 here on Friday. Planning Minerals Development Director Syed Bilal Khisro and other concerned officials were also present.
The minister said that new system would not only ensure better governance and speedy development made but the procedure of mining would be put on a proper track for inviting domestic and foreign investors.
She said that our major aim was to provide an appropriate environment for investors in the province adding to achieve the objective effective and better business atmosphere would be provided adding amendments were under consideration to develop mineral sector by providing transparent administrative management, legal and fiscal framework and congenial business environment.
